Lawyer
A lawyer is a trained professional who is licensed to practice law. A lawyer can also act as a legal advisor for an individual or represent their client in court. There is no shame that the law is blind and only believes in given proof. The lawyer is the one who investigates the case and gathers evidence to defend the clients.
Becoming a successful lawyer is not easy; it takes hours of intense study, followed by years of courtroom practice, before landing one high-profile case that could change their career. Many successful lawyers, such as Richard Scruggs, Joe Jamail ("King of Tords"), and Wichai Thongtang, are examples of how one law case can change the entire career, whether it is about defending a corporate company or a fight against societal expectations. Today, such skilled and successful lawyers earn billions of dollars.
Lawyers can earn money from a variety of sources, including consultancy fees for expert advice, contingency fees for winning corporate/high-profile cases, and monthly/hourly fees based on how time-consuming the matter is. Aside from that, some lawyers accept fixed amounts for short-term side court work.
